One of the main goals of KANVAS Festival is to support our artistic community, which is why we have developed a robust program to support breakout artists.

KANVAS Breakout Artist Grant (DEADLINE May 27)
The KANVAS Breakout Artist Grant is a fantastic opportunity for new artists to build your portfolio, get direct mentorship on your artistic projects, and further develop your local and international network. Our grant program offers a limited number of artists the following:
- Stipend of NOK 8,000
- Mentorship on an artistic project that will be presented during KANVAS Festival. The mentorship period will begin immediately after grants are awarded and lasts until the end of the festival (June 21).
- Free membership at Zonal Cultural Center & Co-Working Space for the duration of the mentorship period (approximately one month).
- Materials and equipment
- Promotion and exposure – Grant recipient’s work will be featured in our program, social media, and other marketing materials – the same as our headlining artists!
